LDS Christmas Party

This year us and another couple (plus some amazing friends) were in charge of our church Christmas party. It was a Saturday morning breakfast buffet Christmas party. This is a little off topic for my chocolate blog :) but we did have some super fun chocolate chocolates I created for the event and I thought I share the rest of the party too since decorating a LDS cultural hall brings with it whole new level of challenges. Here is some ideas-

I decided to set the food table in the middle of the cultural hall and run two 8 foot tables down each side. We planned for 250 guests and we wanted to make the flow smooth and quick. We capped the tables with plates and decorations at the beginning and at the end with an assortment of fruit.  The cold drinks and hot cocoa bar were on separate tables.

My husband found old fencing to build this stable. The nativity photo booth for families was such a big hit! Our primary assembled a great selection of costumes for everyone to choose from and helped take pictures. We got the best family photo here ❤️❤️

 

Each seat was adorned with a chocolate nativity as a gift. I can't throw a party without giving everyone chocolate! And even more chocolate.. 

 

 

The colors were very non-traditional for Christmas. We went with white, teal, gold, and burlap accents. Classy, crisp, modern and clean was the idea.

• Last day to place orders is Monday, Nov 2nd.
• Orders will be available for pickup in Logan & Centerville starting November 9th.
• Payment is due at time of ordering 
• Whole cases only- lots of people pair up and split cases.

It's that time of year

Gourmet apples-- my fav!!!  With the exception of special events, weddings, bridal and baby showers I always take a break mid to late summer making chocolates. Now that apples are available again  fresh from the local orchards I'm back to cooking  up caramel in big batches. Lots of deliciousness to come!
